Scottish Widows' Letter

My wife and I have an endowment each with Scottish Widows and have received letters from SW admitting they have not sent us our annual review and therefore failed in their duty to us. The annual review is when they tell you whether the endowment is on track. The recent letter is strange in that it asks us to let them know what we would have done to intervene if we had received the review yet doesn't tell us whether the endowment is on track or not. My wife called SW and the customer care person was very cagey and wouldn't commit any further information other than to ask if we wanted to raise a formal complaint. In the absence of anything else that is what my wife has done and we are waiting for a call back. Has anyone else received this letter and contacted SW?

Hi, I have just received the same letter regarding my SW endowment policy. The potential shortfall isnt a concern for me so I haven't contacted them, just wondering if you had heard anything back from SW??0
