  • DawnW- I only ever did clothes psychology at uni.......can only give information on this (what i remember........not trying to be insensitive just create a smile for you as it is a toughie that you are going through)
Foxgloves-luv, luv, luv molton Brown. Have found a little goes a long way, esp when using with a dougle (not the dog!) in the shower and the scent stays on ur skin all day. DD bought me a gift set of small bottles last year and they I still have half left. Certain ones also take me back to certain memories. Happy days

Well I got everything done yesterday except hoover upstairs. I'm going away this weekend aswell so will need to tighten belt for a couple of weeks. Will hoover upstairs today as I'm not leaving until later as I haven't a cat sitter to cover the evening shift, once this is done I will be leaving. Just about packed and ready so I can get on with some more planning during today ready for the weekend.
Looking forward to seeing DD at the event as I won't see her until Easter then
Washing all up to date which is handy as the first thing I always do when I get back from a weekend away is get the washing machine on. The rest then takes 5 minutes to unpack.
Need to pop to M@rrisons this morning to get cat bits and some extra snacks so not tempted to buy over the weekend.
Hoping all the poorlies feel better soon, hugs to everyone.
    have a good Friday/weekend everyone x

    Hi Friday February Fabulistas,

I got a good night's rest and was "Feet on Floor" two minutes before the alarm went off. Ready to grasp whatever today throws at me at work by the neck.

Yesterday I realised that if I can get to about 3pm my anxiety starts to reduce and eventually fades away altogether. This is a useful discovery.

Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Made a cheap but fancy packed lunch to take to work. Lots of wee things to eat.

    * Good, homemade, sustaining breakfast before I leave the house.

    * Charge phone at work.

    * Froze some rapidly wilting kale for another day.

    * Topped up Stardrops spray bottle.

    Onwards and upwards.

    Greetings Fabulous Friday Frugalistas,
Quite a useful day, though my grocery budget update turned into a saga......& yes, I do intend to bore you with that later. Anyway, today's list of money saving activity:
*Swerved buying lunch out by sternly telling myself I was but 15 miles from home & not likely actually to expire from starvation on route.
    *Paid in a cheque.
*Paid in £6 of change bagged up from the shrapnel pot - now in our Loan Pay Down Fund.
*Cleaned whole house between us to share the work. Usual minimal products & washable microfibre cloths.
*Changed towels, tea towels, etc, all in washer waiting for an overnight wash on cheap tariff.
    *Entered a prize draw.
    *Did several surveys.
*Sowed chilli seeds. Must go & check my little propagator has heated up & is still working - a £15 YS purchase years ago - I wouldn't be without it, as lots of our food crops start off in there.
Grocery Budget Saga: Went to Sainsbo's feeling very organised - list, triple nectar points voucher, bags, the lot. Mr f bought a speaker he'd been after - should have been £60 but they had 3 left in the sale at £24, so he decided he'd buy one with the last of his Christmas money. As we had this triple nectar voucher, I didn't bother keeping different pots of money separate, just paid for it all in one trolley-load & when we got home, sat down to get all my different pots of money straight. (This is stultifying stuff!) So the amount we paid included money from 1. Grocery budget 2. My Personal Spends 3. mr f's personal spends/Christmas money 4. Some stuff my Mum asked us to get - refunds us when we next see her 5. the household 'pot' (for a lovely wooden handled spatula in the sale) Anyone actually fallen asleep yet? So there I was with my trusty calculator, receipt, etc, working out how to get all these different budgets re-imbursed/straightened out & I just couldn't get it right. Decided to go through the receipt line by line & finally spotted it.....mr f's speaker had been priced at £24 in the sale but had scanned at full price £60. That rather took the shine off his bargainaceous find, so he rang the store & they were fine about it. It was a sale item & it was their error. The only annoying thing now is that they will only refund him in person, which means him driving back to the next town tomorrow after work to do it. We did feel like proper trolleys for not spotting this in the shop, but as we had expenditure from so many different pots of money involved, we didn't query what with hindsight was a large bill. Bah to 30 miles worth of wasted diesel though.
Do you know, I've actually almost bored my own pants off typing that saga out!
Hope everyone else has had a very much more interesting day.
I think my knitting needles are coming out now.
    Cheers all,
    f xx
