Hi January Joy-Seekers,
Trying to make the most of my time before work later.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Checked online banking.
* Keeping an eye on Broadband Allowance. Bought an Add-On as we're going to go over the allowance. Buying an Add-On is much cheaper than going over the allowance unauthorised.
* Day One of 21 Day Anti-Anxiety Programme App. Used a discount code for said purchase. I think I need to invest time and a few pennies in sorting my mind out as I'm really unhappy at the moment.
Onwards and upwards.

Morning folks
Not a problem on the posts
Well I did have a couple of glasses of wine last night, but in an enjoyable way, not a "I hate my job" way.
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores
- Stretch legs at lunchtime - done
- Put my clothes away

- Sew on some badges
- No alcohol
- Charge phone in work - done
- Move some monies as it's payday - done
- OH hopefully to hoover upstairs
- Put bedding back onto spare bed
- Had a tinker with the "offtime" app on my phone. Trying to have more offtime. - done
- Didn't buy anything in Asda at lunchtime
Have a good one all

Oh - thinking of slow cookers, I discovered that you can do jacket potatoes in the sc. This is a fab revelation.LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310

You just dab them with a bit of oil, salt and pepper, roll 'em up in foil and bung 'em in! 4-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low
I popped some in on high at about 8am and they were ready for lunch. I have a tall type sc and did 4 so I swapped the top and bottom ones half way through. Apparently they can sometimes go a bit darker inside than they would in the oven but ours looked normal to me.LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Afternoon all

Ally, take care
CLF thanks for going to the trouble of rescuing the thread yesterday
Today's list:
Did a shop at Lidls - £26.05 spent. Coudn't get everything needed, but did get most of it
Took some items in to sales unit
Paperwork for business
Checked banks
Updated spreadsheet - spending has been atrocious this month
Load of washing out on line - must get it in shortly! And another load in machine
Bits from fridge for lunch
Have pheasant to cook for dinner. Not my favourite, but no waste here.
Not a very inspiring list today - I am a bit down in the dumps too today, mainly about the situation here atm

Hi Wednesday People,
I don't think I've done two jobs alike today, then I had to go out for a meeting tonight, but I've kept the MSE faith:
*Took ingredients out of freezer for early start with the slow cooker tomorrow.
*Did 4 surveys. Am up to over £25 on Prolific now, £41.75 on Yougov, £21 on Onepoll & not too far to go to get my £40 cashout on Toluna, so must keep at it.
*Entered 1 prize draw.
*Blitzed my desk. De-cluttered & found a number of useful items inc 2 knackered phones I could sell, a pile of birthday cards I recycled into gift tags & a bookmark & a barely used bottle of ink. Annoyingly, I bought an identical bottle of ink last month having not ventured to the back of my desk draws for an absolute age, so £5 wasted.......though sufficient ink to write my journal & letters for months!
*Whipped the washing off the heated airer the minute it was dry to save a bit of electricity.
*Paid another 50p into my sealed pot & small change to shrapnel jar.
*More marmalade money added to Loan Pay Down Fund.
*Sorted my seed box & decided what food to grow this year. Have to be sensible & cut down bearing in mind I need a major surgery. Anyway, was pleased to find that I only need to buy 5 packets of veg seed & no flower seed, as I have lots of useful stuff left from last year.
*Did a crossword competition. Hope I win!
Sorry to hear so many of our.number are feeling out of sorts & stressed. Intrusive anxious thoughts are so crippling to day-to-day life & it"s so important (& difficult) to keep things in perspective.
F x2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0 -
Good morning comrades!
I wrote such a good job list for today but have unfortunately had a terrible night of insomnia - 2 hrs sleep max - mostly because of a badly pulled muscle I managed to do yesterday. It hurts when I breathe in - intercostal muscles - have done this before. Grrrrr! So, will be working through my list (minus clearing & digging over flowerbed!) & will hopefully still be able to kick in a list of money saving achievements later.
Hope everyone else is getting off to a better start!

Hi February Fabulistas,
Optimistically sprang out of bed a minute after the alarm went this morning.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Checked online banking.
* Keeping an eye on Broadband Allowance.
* Day Two of 21 Day Anti-Anxiety Programme App. Used a discount code for said purchase. I did feel a bit better yesterday.
* Driving DW to work to save on the £9 bus fare. Gives us an extra 30 mins together too.
* Time the heating of the water so we can get two showers out of the boiler at the same time.
