Lol..if she can book an appointment and follow it up I'm sure she can ask how much it will cost..:)
People can have good days and bad days, though!
The point is, we don't know.:D

I'm sorry Pyx I disagree.
I'm not disputing that she might have issues, or indeed have bad days...my point is, if she was able to go to her pre appointment assessment, and speak to the dentist about what treatment was needed, then she could have asked the cost of said treatment too.Everyone you meet may be fighting a battle you know nothing about.
Be kind!

NHS dentists have a price banding system. I picked up a leaflet from my practice this morning which gave the bands and prices. For what you’ve said it falls into band 2 which is £44.
You should be able to pick up a similar leaflet. Also charges for treatment should be given before treatment I think. (Ours always is).
Edit: should have said this is Wales0 -

I didn't know that Wales had different prices to England:
Band 1 (check-ups) Wales: £14.00. England: £20.60.
Band 2 (fillings, removals) Wales: £44.00. England: £56.30.
Band 3 (crowns, dentures, bridges) Wales: £190. England: £244.30.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

The above is correct for Wales as per my leaflet.
Free prescriptions too! :j0 -
Scotland and Northern Ireland also have different Dental charge system as they are still fee per item so charge will vary according to size of fillings etc.
In all the countries if you have NHS Dental treatment you should be given a fp17dc form , or equivalent treatment plan , which details what you will be charged and what treatment you will be having .0
