TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Currys giveaway with Jason Manford on Absolute” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

The prize winners will be those persons who successfully submit a written entry that is chosen by Jason Manford as the best and most original life hack as explained at the top of the competition form.

For each competition, Jason Manford will bring two entrants to air to discuss their life hack and proceed to pick his favourite who will win the prize as detailed below in section 5.

The entrants bought to air will be chosen by a panel of judges at Absolute radio.

2.Entry Platforms and Costs

3. DATES

Start Date and End Date: From 15/11/2017 at 00:01 to 14/12/2017 at 15:00

• Competition 1 will be played on air on 19/11/2017 but will be pre-recorded on the 17/11/2017
• Recruitment for entry for competition 1 runs from 15 Nov at 00:01 to 16 Nov at 16:00
• Entrants for competition 1 must be available to answer a phone call from Absolute programing on 16 Nov post 4pm
• Entrants for competition 1 must be available to come on air on 17 Nov between 10:00 and 13:00

• Competition 2, 3, 4 & 5 will take place live on air every Sunday between 26/11/2017 and 17/12/2017
• Recruitment for entry for these competition runs from 16 Nov at 16:00 to 14 Dec at 15:00
• Entrants for these competitions must be available to answer a phone call from Absolute programming every Thursday between 15:00 – 17:00
• Entrants for these competitions must be available to come on air every Sunday between 09:00 and 10:30

Winner Announcement.

• Winner 1 will be announced on air on 19 Nov between 09:00 and 10:30
• Winner 2 will be announced on air on 26 Nov between 09:00 and 10:30
• Winner 3 will be announced on air on 03 Dec between 09:00 and 10:30
• Winner 4 will be announced on air on 10 Dec between 09:00 and 10:30
• Winner 5 will be announced on air on 17 Dec between 09:00 and 10:30

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.

5. THE PRIZE

Each of the five winners will be rewarded with a HP Pavilion 14 laptop and £500 worth of vouchers to spend in store at Currys PC World.

The Prize is provided by Currys PC World. We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

OTHER CONDITIONS

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. For more details, see: http://www.bauerdatapromise.co.uk/.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

a. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.
b. Participants may enter more than once
c. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
d. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.
e. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
f. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
g. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
h. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
i. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
j. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.

Has anyone been able to enter again. I tried again this morning thinking maybe you need to enter for the next leg of the comp but it still say one entry per user so I'll delete from dailies
