And another £5 item of OH's has gone - if the buyer turns up this time.
There are a few watchers on his items on ebay, I do hope they sell.

£15 collected for the sale of some of DS’s old clothes and £10 for an item sold on behalf of OH. There’s also £12.83 of OH’s in my paypal account from the eBay sale. I’m going to build up the pot to a tidy amount for him, he’s asked me to keep hold of it as he’ll only spend it! I would like it to get to £200 for him at least. He has a LOT of stuff to clear from his house so it’s perfectly feasible if he gets into the swing of sorting through stuff.

The £15 I have made will go towards an extra mortgage payment or towards DS’s birthday party - he wants to take a few friends to a soft play, then for food. His Dad and I will split the cost, but it’ll still need budgeting for. Thankfully I have most of his birthday presents now and i’ll be making his cake. I made a few invites tonight and will put some party bags together for him.

I have also sold another item tonight, pending collection next week. Only for £4, but as well all know, it all helps. :)

Payday is less than an hour away!!!!
I can’t wait to start shifting money around in the morning and finally be able to make another overpayment. Sad isn’t it, but I so look forward to making OP’s! Think I need to re-evaluate my life!!!

FINALLY it's payday! I thought it would never arrive!

So, I've already done the money jig and transferred £150 to the ISA, £100 to the car maintenace pot, £75 to the house renovation fund, £50 to the Christmas/birthdays savings and £25 to the school holidays pot.

I've paid the credit card bill of £134.07 which is now cleared and I've allocated an extra £60 to the gas and electric direct debit on YNAB as I had to call them out last month and there was a £60 call out charge which I think will be taken with this month's DD.

A lovely overpayment of £65 has been squirrelled away to the mortgage, which now takes the balance under £78,000. :D

New mortgage balance is now £77,997.

All of the above leaves me with an extra £21.93 'unallocated'. I think I'll put another £10 into the ISA and £11.93 off the mortgage :)

Indeed it does - and the space (even if small) gained from getting rid of 'stuff' is also beneficial, I find :)

Absolutely Greent, although lots of this 'stuff' is currently making it's way from OH's house via mine, so I seem to be acquiring said stuff whilst it's selling! :rotfl:

I've ordered 3 new school jumpers for DS this morning, at a cost of £26.85. I'd budgeted £30 this month for clothes for him, so I'm hoping his school shoes will last for at least another month. :o

I've placed an order for a big online grocery shop for next week. It'll be around £70, but the freezer is the lowest it's been for some time at the moment and this will stock everything up nicely. It should be a case of little top up shops for the rest of the month then.

I need to put diesel in the car today as we're heading off to see my folks. Will be filling it up, so that will be around £40 and will need to top it up again by £25 or so for the journey home on Monday. I've budgeted £80 for petrol this month but will need to up that a bit as OH and I are heading off for a weekend away in February too.

I treated myself and bought myself breakfast in the bakery this morning - £2.25 for a breakfast roll and hot drink. The first time this year and probably won't do it for another month or more so I don't mind. :) Paid for with money from my purse.

Back at work after a weekend at 'home'. Feeling homesick today and missing my family. Wish I lived closer, especially as my Mum is so poorly. :( If it wasn't for OH and work, I'd be tempted to move back at the moment... :( Not that I could afford a house in that area.:(

Anyway. on to moneysaving... Diesel spends at the weekend were just over £60, but there's still half a tank in the car which will last me a while.

My family very kindly sent us home with lots of new clothes for DS and lots of household bits which will help save me money. My Parents also gave me £20 towards diesel and showered DS with gifts.
We also received some late Christmas gifts from relatives we hadn't been able to see. I kindly received a £25 ASDA gift voucher which will come in handy for the grocery pot and OH and I were also given a £15 voucher for a meal out which will be a treat. :)

Anyway, I have quite a bit of cash in my purse which I would really like to put in the bank soon, it's just a case of finding time to get to a bank to do so.

I've completed a few surveys this morning, will start building those points up again hopefully.
