OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

BY ENTERING THIS PRIZE DRAW, YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
1. RULES
These are the official rules that govern how the Microsoft Xbox Intergalactic Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) will operate. In these rules, "Microsoft", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Microsoft Limited. "You," "yourself" refers to an eligible Prize Draw entrant. “The Promoter” is Microsoft Limited, Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park, Reading, RG6 1WG, England (“Microsoft”). “Territory” shall mean: Great Britain. The “entrant” is the personal, registered account holder of the e-mail address or Twitter account used to submit the entry.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Prize Draw is open to residents of the Territory aged 18 or older at the time of entry. Proof of age, identity and place of residence may be required. Employees (or family members of employees) of Microsoft, its group companies or companies affiliated with the Prize Draw (including GMR Marketing LLC (“GMR”)) may not enter the Prize Draw.
3. PRIZE DRAW PERIOD
This Prize Draw runs from 12:01 a.m. GMT on 8 November 2017 and closes 11:59 p.m. GMT on 12 November 2017 inclusive (the “Prize Draw Period”). This Prize Draw consists of five (5) Daily Instant-Win periods and one (1) Grand Prize drawing. Instant-Win periods will be open for entry starting at 12:00 a.m. GMT and ending at 11:59 p.m. GMT each day during the Prize Draw Period. Entries received outside of the Prize Draw Period will not be valid.
4. HOW TO ENTER
A.
Grand Prize Drawing: Maximum of one (1) entry via the Twitter entry method per person and maximum of (1) entry via the online entry method per person, per day, regardless of method of entry. For clarity, a total of seven (7) entries (one (1) via Twitter and up to six (6) online) into the Grand Prize drawing may be received during the Sweepstakes per person. Multiple/duplicate entries will be invalid. You must comply with the terms and policies of the platform you use to enter the Prize Draw. There are two (2) ways to enter the Grand Prize Drawing for the Prize Draw:

(a)
To enter the Grand Prize Drawing via Twitter, you must have a Twitter account. Follow the @XboxUK Twitter handle at https://twitter.com/xboxuk; and retweet one (1) of the Promoter’s designated promotional Tweets containing “#XboxSweepstakes” (a “Retweet”) during the Prize Draw Period. Retweets must be in the EXACT form as the original tweet to be eligible to receive an entry and you must ensure your account is set to “public”.

Tweets that infringe on another’s rights, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property; or contain material that is obscene, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, is unlawful (each as determined by the Promoter), will be disqualified.


(b)
To enter the Grand Prize drawing online, you must (1) visit https://www.xboxintergalacticprizedraw.com (“Website”); (2) complete the Official Online Entry Form with your first and last names, address, city, locality, postal code, e-mail address, and daytime phone number, verify eligibility, and accept the Official Terms & Conditions and Promoter’s Privacy Statement, and (3) click “Submit” during the Prize Draw Period.




B.
Daily Instant-Win: Maximum of one (1) Daily Instant-Win entry per person, per day, for a total of five (5) Instant-Win entries per person. There is one (1) way to enter the Daily Instant-Win:
(a)
To participate in the Daily Instant-Win online, once you click “Submit” to earn an entry into the Grand Prize drawing online, the Website will automatically reveal whether or not you are a Daily First Prize winner or a Daily Second Prize winner (as defined below in section 6). If you are designated as a Daily First Prize or Daily Second Prize Winner, your prize will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you provided on the Official Online Entry Form. Failure to provide a valid e-mail address at the time of entry or return of any Daily First Prize or Daily Second Prize as undeliverable, will result in forfeiture of the Daily First Prize or the Daily Second Prize. The time of day when you participate will determine whether you are a Daily First Prize or Daily Second Prize Winner. If your entry is the first to occur on or after a randomly designated winning time, you will win one (1) Daily First Prize or one (1) Daily Second Prize indicated, subject to verification. Prizes are made available at random times throughout the Prize Draw Period. One hundred twenty-five (125) Daily First Prizes and two thousand five hundred (2,500) Daily Second Prizes will be available during the Prize Draw Period.


(b)
DISQUALIFICATION: We will automatically disqualify: any incomplete or invalid entry; ineligible entrant, any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect has tampered with the entry process or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with this Prize Draw or engaging in any un-sportsman-like or dishonest conduct of any kind. The Promoter’s decision on all such matters is final.




5. SELECTION OF GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
Between 13 November 2017 and 17 November 2017, five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected at random from all complete, valid, and eligible entries received during the Prize Draw Period. Winners will be notified on or around 20 November 2017 by direct message to their Twitter account (if entry was via Twitter) or by email to the email address associated with their Official Online Entry Form (if entry was via online). Winners must respond to their notification within 15 days by confirming any contact details requested in that notification for delivery of their prize.
If any Winner is not able, for any reason, to accept a prize, or does not respond to their notification within 15 days of the date of the first notification, the Promoter reserves the right to award the relevant prize to another entrant selected at random from among the remaining complete, valid, and eligible entries received during the Prize Draw Period.
The Grand Prize winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising without remuneration, which may include the use of their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes.
6. PRIZES
Each Grand Prize winner wins two (2) Xbox One S 500 GB consoles; two (2) Xbox Design Lab controllers; two (2) copies of each of the following Xbox One-compatible games: (a) “Star Wars™ Battlefront™ I – Ultimate Edition”, (b) “Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II – Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition”, (c) “Star Wars™ The Force Unleashed”, (d) “Star Wars™ The Force Unleashed II”, (e) “Lego Star Wars™ - The Force Awakens”, and (f) “Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic”; two (2) 12-month Xbox Live Gold Memberships; two (2) 12-month EA Access Memberships; and two (2) movie tokens redeemable for “Star Wars™: The Force Awakens” on Xbox One. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is £983 (incl VAT).
Each Daily First Prize winner wins one (1) digital copy of “Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II” game for Xbox One. The ARV of each Daily First Prize is £79.99 (incl VAT).
Each Daily Second Prize winner wins one (1) 1-month EA Access token for Xbox One. The ARV of each Daily Second Prize is £3.99 (incl VAT).
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the Prize (or any part of it) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Prizes will be supplied within thirty (30) days of the draw using the contact details confirmed by the winners as described above. The Promoter is not responsible for any delays in the postal service.
7. WINNERS LIST
The Promoter will use each winner’s Name/Twitter handle (as applicable) in online and offline media for this Prize Draw, in the event that you are a winner. Prize winners’ names will be available for one (1) month from the day of winners’ selection by sending an e-mail with the subject line “MS Xbox Intergalactic Prize Draw” to winners@xboxpromotions.com.
8. LAWS
This Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions.
9. LIABILITY
Neither the Promoter (nor any other person or organisation) excludes or limits their liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for: (i) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and (ii) death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The Promoter will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) the following occurrences, to the extent that they occur for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control:
a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion; and
b) any changes to prizes or the way in which they can be used;
c) problems with the dispatch of prizes (such as prizes failing to reach the intended recipient);
d) any act or default of any third party supplier.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your Entry. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, will be disqualified and will not be counted.
10. DATA
The Promoter will use each winner’s, and each entrant’s, personal details for the purpose of administering this Prize Draw. Please note that by accepting these Terms and Conditions you are also accepting the terms of the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you request that your name and/or email address is removed, you will no longer be eligible to win a Prize.
11. OTHER
No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions. In the event of a dispute, The Promoter’s decision shall be final in all respects on all entrants. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this Prize Draw and to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
