It really depends on what else you have on there. If you have 20 years experience as a brain surgeon then possibly not; but if you are struggling to put anything on there then add it0

Not struggling to put anything on there but Im struggling to find a job at the moment because no companies really care0

A great chance to network too. You never know who you might end up talking to, who may need someone or may know of who's looking to take on someone new.SPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j

No, the reason you are not getting any job offers is that there are better candidates than you; not because companies don't care, they do care about getting the best staff they can0

Well I volunteer every weekend, I work hard, I do everything. I have great qualification so it does seem like they don't care to be honest. Someone just needs to take a chance on me then they will see how reliable I am0 -

Do you really think that a company would hire someone inferior to you, because they don't care?0 -
Here we go again0

Oh yeah I know that. I know I probably am inferior to most companies. which is why i keep on volunteering, I go on to higher qualifications and then maybe one day I will get lucky
I'm not criticising, because volunteering is very admirable.
BUT you need to be aware that if you have developed an ingrained sense of entitlement, it could be very obvious in interviews.
You could be perfect for the role, but the cloud you have over your head be putting people off.0 -
If you come across in an interview the same as you are coming across in this thread I don't think any amount of volunteering is going to secure you a role.0
