Mortgage Refused 2 Time

Hi i have refused my remortgage application two time once Nationwide and second time Halifax reason was they are not satisfied from my wife wages actually my wife started new job and we applied with job contract so now my question is now on my history has three hard search. so when can i apply again could any when suggest me good mortgage broker who can help me.

i want to borrow extra for home improvement.

What is it specifically they aren't happy with? Assuming it's her employment contract or employment history is falling outside of their lending criteria. Please search around and use a broker, as having two mortgage applications declines in a short space of time is going to damage your credit report, you do not want to damage this any further with another decline.

Speak to a broker, provide them with the contract and information and they request and they can get you in the right direction.

Both bank did not gave me clear reason just giving reason could not verified her job even halifax rang to her employer and after refusal when i make call to halifax customer support for detail reason and she was surprised as well why they refused every thing was okay on file then she write email to branch for further investigation . but still they refused.

So why could they not verify her income? Is this an issue with her payslips, the way she's paid, an issue with her contract or something else?
