This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!

As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or SLOW internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.

Good Morning Chums, back again for another new day, bright and early and the sun is streaming in the window so it looks like another good day ahead.
I have to host the U3A coffee morning this morning as I am on the rota for this week. Nice pleasant morning with our friendly bunch,plus using my Dobbies loyalty card will get my freebie coffee as well
Then back to my house for and early lunch then to Dds to feed two of my DGS their lunch and to take the two small dogs out for a walk.
The boys did very well in the garden yesterday at their house and I was really pleased at how much stuff we managed to fill the garden waste bin with, plus the run to the tip as well.

Tonight is quiz night which I always enjoy at our local pub. I organise the local U3A team and we are doing quite well at the moment with three bottles of plonk to go into our communal stash last Tuesday night
No cooking for me tonight as i get fed at the pub :0

Morning all


Nice bright day here again we have had a good summer so far, off to work for me the manager is off this week so a nice quiet week :j


Something with pasta for dinner tonight, we have had salad the past few nights so need something different, I have some gnocchi in the fridge so might have that or some spaghetti and use odds and ends up.


Need to hoover through tonight and put a wash on.


Right better get on have good days all xx
