first post and i'm making a new start

Thanks for being so nice everyone. I've found some more things to go onto ebay and amazon and if they don't sell on there then i'll take it to the car boot. We have a fairly popular one close by which i've been to once before. It's not my favourite way to spend a Sunday morning but with the house up for sale we need a clear out anyway! I also still have a lot of things at my parents house that i left when i moved out. I'm thinking if i haven't needed it in the two years since i moved out it can go to someone who will use it!

the separate account idea sounds good as I already have a second account as up until a few weeks ago i also ran my own business from home. while this did bring in a lot of extra cash and i made loads of money, especially near christmas time, i had to give it up to get back a decent quality of life. working full time then out 4 nights a week, sometimes 5 or 6 in the run up to christmas wasn't much fun!
i've worked out a sensible budget that i think is acheiveable for 'fun' money each month so i'll see how it goes. I've had a few things to pay off for the wedding out of this months wages so it hasn't been the best of starts but we'll get there in the end.
i'll work out how to add a signature which might give me a boost and i'm going to find a nice 'piggy bank' to go on my desk with a sign reminding me to take my own lunch as M&S is the only shop around unless i choose to live on pies and cakes!

to do signiture go to the bar at the top & go into user cp then edit signiture & away you go! Feel free to ask questions! people use a fair bit of jargon (again for speed!) & that can be overwhelming so ask away!
