Moggins, you can avoid the roundabout, by using the new road. Go down by the Colin Campbell pub (near the docks) and turn right. Follow it right to the end, it brings you out on the dual carriageway, turn left and the farm is on the right.

I don't drive so I don't usually take any notice of how we get anywhere so double-check the directions :rotfl:

Like I said, make sure you check my directions. I may have (though not intentionally) directed you into the river..............

this morning found the milk has sort of separated too. It doesn't smell off but it looks as if it's going that way :(

Don't worry about this - the milk from Tesco is almost certainly homogenised, which is a mechanical process that redistributes the fat and stops it separating. Your farm shop milk (is it their own or a brand?) is almost certainly not homogenised so it will separate a bit - you can either shake it up, or skim off the cream to use in cooking and you're left with skimmed milk.

I've read some rumours about homogenised milk causing health problems but not sure what/how/if true - either way I just wanted to say don't worry about the separating milk, it just means you have a more natural product! If you're left with any of this milk that has separated so much you don't like the look of it, remember it's ideal for scones/soda bread etc (note, not gone off, just separated!)
