Starting out from London, the competition winner and a companion will cross several (real) counties and visit some of the charming villages, traditional pubs, beautiful churches and grand houses that have featured in Midsomer Murders over the years. At each stop, you'll learn more about historical locations and get some behind-the-scenes insight into how the show is made. You'll also explore the Midsomer village that was the scene of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Vicar of Dibley, and visit DCI Tom Barnaby's hometown of Causton. It's absolutely a bucket-list experience for film and television fans! Prize also includes overnight b&b accommodation & £200 spending money.
Puzzle 2, Murder Mystery Train Ride:
The prizewinner and a friend will take part in a thrilling murder mystery experience aboard Belmond British Pullman. Waited on hand and foot by staff you will enjoy a sumptuous five-course Champagne lunch during the round trip from London Victoria through stunning Kent countryside. Whilst on board a murder has been committed and it will be up to you to determine who the killer is. The prize also includes return rail travel to the London departure point and £100 to buy a few treats.
