thanks again. I did venture into the 'bank accounts' and 'utilites': I'm trying desperatly to get my main household bits down before next month when they all get paid out! but most of what I needed to know was actually on the main site.

If there was a grow your own lunar landing craft board, I'd for sure be visiting that! I visit most of the above - tried the gambling for matched betting, but lost it a bit.

Discount codes board - okay, I just don't understand those. Can anyone on this thread explain in words of two syllables or less? I'd love to come out and play, I just don't get it!

Well, in answer to my own question just took a wonder into the eBaying one and now I feel awful!

Posted a question about eBaying stuff for my parents (Mum & stepdad- had asked me to eBay items as they are moving house, and said as long as I got rid of the stuff I could keep the profits: I wasn't comfortable with that- they paid for it after all, but they won't hear of me doing it for free either. I just wanted to offer 'better value than a trader' type thing, so they weren't out of pocket.)

And got most replies quite reasonable, but one person was really upsetting and judgemental: said she thought the idea of it was disgusting.

I don't even know why that upset me, I know I was trying to do the right thing!


Gaaaaaah : Immoral_angel, I think that person just chased me out with a torch and pitchfork!!!

I tell you what. You deviate off this thread and you meet some very argumentitive and judgemental people on the other threads. Not all of them though to be fair

i went into the os board one day and got scared witless they were arguing non stop ...eventually though i wnt back in and have found them helpful ...i like to wander over to the green board (gonna look for a lunar landing one) ethical pension savings xmas board ...basically all of them but always come home to dfw

just wanted to say thanks for that wee post...

..sounds silly but when I faced up to my (small in comparison to some, but a major problem for me on my income!) debts I did get rather sensitive, and its good to know its not just me who has had a bad experience on another board!

But then, even saying that shows I probably need to get out more! In a DFW way of course.
