Twitter or click to wins?

Options
Good morning everyone.

I took a break from comping for a few months but now coming back for the 'winter season'. I only have limited time though. I'm up to date with the MSE board and am going to try to keep up to date and I don't do FB comps.

My question is with any remaining time do you think it would be better investing it into click to wins or in twitter comps? Would value your opinions. Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Why not split it? One day or one week do twitter, then the next day or next week do CTW.

    Good luck.

I win more often on twitter but think there are better prizes on CTW. I don't have time for everything every day so I just do what I'm in the mood for. That way it doesn't feel like a chore. Have a great day yourself.

Click to wins will almost always get far more entries for each prize as each one is usually available for a couple of months and on multiple sites, if one is just on 10 sites (many are on far more) that's a possible 600 entries per person for the prize(s) compared to one entry per person for most TW comps (only a few allow multiple retweets).

Still only takes one entry to be in with a chance of winning whichever you do.

My perception is people seem to do better on the Mag dailies which have fewer entry routes and are not as susceptible to automated entries as the C2W but I don't know entry numbers or if mag daily winners are simply more likely to post in iwiwiw than C2W are.
  • I do the Click to Wins more than Twitter, as mjm3346 says the prizes are generally better on C2W and the potential for more entries can give you an edge in your odds of winning, Twitter prizes are generally low value tat. I have won on Twitter only a couple of times over the past 4 years of trying, a couple of nice prizes including an Android Tablet but I have won far more on the C2W sites including TV's and Blu-Ray players etc.

I also enter the Mag Daily's every day too, but even though I used to win quite frequently on those, on average about 1 or 2 a month up to last year, I haven't won a thing on them since February this year. I am beginning to wonder if they are now excluding entries from people like me that use ad blockers, flash blockers and User Agent spoofers and not announcing that these entries are excluded.
