Looks lovely Thistle - I was just thinking about your dresser as I was logging in, wondering if you'd managed to pick it up.

Just popping in as have been absent for ages it seems - just wanted to check in and see that you're ok. Bet you spend all night looking at it!

    Take care xx

  • Thank you Smolly! I'm so glad that you are back, we were getting worried!

The dresser has had generations of waxing and polishing and is so smooth - every time I walk by I need to touch it. I can't wait to sort it out tomorrow :)

  • Thistle, that's beautiful I love it. Good find xx
  • It's taken far too long but I am done for the moment. I have a fair bit more Cornishware that I don't use very often, it's on display top of the kitchen cupboards. I may thin down the collection but it's unlikely. I have freed up a huge amount of space, things like the kitchen scales are awkward and don't fit neatly anywhere. I'll go through all the cookbooks and see if I really need them all. I can now re-organise the kitchen and for the most part, everything should have it's own place where it is stored out of sight. :)

The top isn't really slanted, I managed to take the photo at a weird angle:
