I've got several variations collected from all over the place
    450ml whisky
    1 400g can evaporated milk
    1 400g can condensed milk
    1 tsp instant coffee
    ½ tsp vanilla extract

put everything together in a blender for 1 minute. Bottle and store in the

    fridge for about a month

    version 2
To make your own special blend of home-made Baileys:

    500 ml single cream
    1 tin condensed milk
    5ml vanilla essence
    Whisky to taste

Whisk cream to thicken it up slightly.

Slowly beat in the condensed milk.

Add vanilla & whisky to taste.

    Bottle & keep refrigerated

I buy a cheap bottle of something very similar to baileys in Lidls and pour in some more cream

At risk of sounding pedantic, it should really be Irish whiskey if you want it to taste like the 'real thing'.

  • Hi, my recipe for Bailey's is slightly different to the ones above - it is really delicious and could last for 3 weeks in the fridge - mines' usually lasts for about 3 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1 teacup of whisky
1 and a half tablespoons of Camp coffee essence
    1 tin condensed milk
    half pint single cream

    Mix all ingredients together.
    Sieve before bottling.

That is so funny - what a clever thinker you are! However, I asked my 8 yr old daughter to invent me a name that would not divulge my name online and that is what she came up with for some reason! Cant stop laughing at the wit of that!
  • That's lovely - tell your daughter it was a great choice. If I'd let my Emo daughter choose my name I'd have ended up as Deathwish :rotfl:

  • Hilarious - You really have made my day - and I am not easily amused!!! Think I need a stiff Baileys to control myself (home made of course!!!!)
