Who is bidding to win his first Open Championship at Royal Troon?

Justin Rose
Phil Mickelson

Stenson and Rose have never won it and Mickelson won at Muirfield so all 3 are bidding to win their first at Royal Troon. Maybe they want Mickelson as he is the only 1 who has won it elsewhere but not sure at all

It's very ambiguous, but the text mentions Stenson is targetting is first major (of which the open is of them), but Rose hasn't won a major either.
