I'm genuinely sorry to hear that but it was not an excuse to act like a tw*t.
Well, I think it can be, because a serious worry can severely lower one's tolerance level.
I think we've all been guilty of snapping at someone when we've got a headache or just realised we've gone overdrawn, so it must be much worse when the worry is more serious., don't you think?,
Just a thought, anyway. :A(I just lurve spiders!)

There are many on the left that hate UK institution and hate UK voters and so would prefer to be ruled by EU commission.
But I agree that the way the government has increased the minimum wage to £9 will do a lot of harm to the poorest.0 -

You're having a strawman argument with yourself now.
We've heard plenty about the IRA, the native born and democracy. It must be about time to dust off your Flower of Scotland routine.0 -

I don't see it but thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about the health issues.0 -
People who don't know why they voted leave and didn't have the vaguest clue what might be planned really don't like being called idiots. Maybe he should've been nicer about it - I prefer poorly educated and misinformed.
I like the argument that the 'poorly educated' should have been presented with a plan by nanny because they were too stupid to think about what a leave vote meant.
I tend to substitute 'fool' for 'idiot', I think it conveys more or less the same message but slightly less aggressively. But I can't exactly start lecturing Gen on forum etiquette, that would be very 'foolish' of me. - Stay in the single market (great, this is key)
- Carry on paying fees to Europe (not so great, as we have less influence)
- Have more say in our own affairs (doesn't bother me so much, but it will probably pacify a few angry people)
- Agree to free movement of labour (probably a necessary trade off to stay in the single market)
So not that much change, but we would have went through a load of hassle just to be a bit worse off than we were.
We voted to leave though, not re-negotiate terms. Of course we will have to re-negotiate our relationship to the EZ at some point, but on our terms though, that was the point of the vote?0
