What's the plan Stan?

From what I can see the plan is to try and manage the fallout until October when hopefully something can be sorted out whereby we can categorically state that we will not be submitting Article 50, and that in this case, the electorate really are too stupid to have their views taken into account, especially by a narrow margin.
That said, we are approaching the point where the limbo of having voted Out but not doing anything to be out is going to do more damage than just submitting Article 50 and dealing with it.
Alternatively the government could categorically state now, that we won't be leaving regardless of the referendum. Both of these choices require firm leadership, competence and giant clanging balls of steel. Attributes that are sadly 100% absent from the venal career politicians and lobbyists' shills that make up the government (and much of the PLP to be fair).
This is a job for Corbyn. People want to see him sink or swim and this would be it.
General election, Labour in, Blairites out, a British leader in the EU that actually has politics in common with other EU leaders and a mandate from the working class.
Things will happen.
Another finger wagging neoliberal stooge from the UK telling Hollande and Merkel they have to privatise everything and give the UK more special opt outs will achieve nothing.0 -
Life carries on as before. Why the panic?0

I own neither toys nor a pram.
What's the plan? It's a perfectly simple question. You voted for it so what next?
As you voted LEAVE, calling everyone that did likewise an Idiot has some humour I suppose.
You know the civil service were forbidden to draw up brexit plans so it will take some time and thought to evaluate the different course of action.
You know this already and it is EXACTLY what you would do.0 -
I haven't insulted any individual about Brexit.
What's the plan though? What next? You voted to be poorer so what now?
Idiots.
in fairness, I don't think it's up to lovinitinuk of the MSE forums to draw up an exit plan.
I rather think that he was more or less entitled to believe that, er, that nice Mr Farage, Mr Gove, & Mr Johnson would fight an honest campaign based on the high-level realities & could afterwards be left to sort out the details. The usefulness and arguably the validity of the referendum rather rested on assumptions of this sort, as really should Mr Farage & co's liberty to walk the streets as free men rather than being [say] banged up in the Tower indefinitely.
he was hopelessly misguided in this belief, obviously, but all the same I'm not now looking to him/her for a plan.FACT.0 -

The thing about democracy is that you have a right to a vote and responsibility to educate yourself as to what you are voting for.
I am tired of hearing Leave people say that they either voted Leave as a protest and didn't think it would win, that they don't like EU meddling but can't name one single piece of EU legislation that has meddled with the UK as a sovereign nation, or just that they don't like foreigners.
They have thrown our country into complete chaos and simply don't get off that lightly.0
