Nationwide DIP?

Have done a NW DIP online and it's been accepted for 157000 with an 18k deposit.

I have some questions which I need help with..

They have only asked for proof of payslips and not bank statements? Does this seem odd?

I'm assuming I have passed the credit check as it's a hard search?... I have a couple late payments on my old Next account 2 years ago and one month where I had an arrangement to pay on there. Iv also used pay day loans in the past..

I thought these would of gone against me? I'm hoping nothing goes wrong!

Had an offer accepted on a house so fingers crossed
Thanks

It is payslips only if you pass with flying colours I believe.

I can't see with my credit history how I can pass with flying colours? Hmm

Your credit history might not show up on Experian (the one utilised by Nationwide) but one of the other credit agencies.

Are we talking about a couple of lae payments dotted about over 6 years and a 25% deposit?

No mate as mentioned in my first post it will be just over 10% deposit.

It was a few late payments on a next store card and an arrangement was in place for 1 month to pay a lower amount. This was 2 years ago.

    Ah yes.
2 year old late payments on a store card, fairly minor in the grand scheme of things. Dont worry about it. You passed, thats the main thing.

Thanks mate - nice to get a bit of reassurance from a mortgage advisor. An arrangement for a month I thought wouldn't of been too great though!

    Thanks again
