I've actually saved sensibly for something!

i've had loads of car trouble over the past week and it has cost me £100 on Friday because I broke down and then £369 yesterday for my MoT and service (needed new exhaust etc). However I have broken the habit off a lifetime and actually had the money in a saving account so I could use my debit card rather than sticking my head in the sand and popping it on my credit card. It's a real milestone for me and it feels great so thought I'd share!:j. Would rather have spent the money on a holiday though but hey ho!

Well done you :T.
And can I suggest that whilst the thought of a holiday by the sea/skiing etc is lovely, it's not too late to start collecting the Sun £9.50 holiday vouchers. I'm "treating" (lol) my OH, sister and nephew to 4 nights in Great Yarmouth. Even with entertainment passes etc it works out at less than £60.00.Abbey cc-£8,154 &More cc-£9,705
