Uncle Ben's rice coupons

anybody out there fortunate to get their hands on any of these coupons would do well to bear in mind that Asda have them on offer at the moment for two for £1.50
It works like this
uncle ben's @ £1.11
uncle ben's @ £1.11
multisaver - 72p

coupon ~@ - £1.15
Coupon ~@ - £1.15
total - 80p
you make 4p per coupon as they redeem ~@ 1.15 and selling price is 1.11
plus the multisaver @ 72p
makes a total of 80p credit per two packs purchased.

be aware this only works when using the free pack coupon currently available.
I have seen these coupons available on ebay but not sure if any advertised at the moment, but certainly worth bearing in mind if you do come across them, I have been selling the packs of rice to work colleagues @ 50p per pack they are happy to get a bargain and I am happy to get a good return on the coupons I buy.

yeah i've seen this coupons on ebay for only £4 for 10, i.e. 40p each. As you are getting 40p back for each time you buy one, you are effectively getting the rice for free !!

I think these were distributed with the local papers some time ago; or those who were lucky enough to have an honest paperboy/girl got them. I didn't. :(

  • Thank you very much for this. I have just bought 10 of them from Ebay for only a fiver including p&p and managed to use all 10 vouchers in one transaction saving me £4 !! So I've managed to get £11.50 worth of rice for only £1. I guess that means a load more ready made meals behind the telly then!

Sorry but I managed to buy the last one from this seller on a 'buy it now' auction which someone posted above but he's got an auction which finishes tonight so if anyone is interested the link is

I missed out on these altogether so I emailed Uncle Bens via the website and they sent me a pack of Uncle Bens express rice and a £1 voucher.

I just said the vouchers were not on our local paper and we missed out on them.
