Share your romantic proposal story with Swizzels to be in with a chance of winning a luxury spa break for two.

To enter, all you have to do is tell us all about the magical moment in 250 words or less. We want to know: when and where it took place, what happened on the day/night and why it was so romantic and special to you?

Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter is: Swizzels Matlow Limited (company no 00562269) whose registered
office is at Carlton House, Albion Road, New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire, SK22 3HA.
2. Employees of Swizzels Matlow Limited or their family members or anyone else connected
in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted
to enter the competition. The competition is open to residents of UK, Republic of Ireland,
Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5. Closing date for entry to the Swizzels Love Hearts competition is Sunday 31st January 2016
at midnight.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
7. Entries will be accepted from United Kingdom, ROI, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
8. The competition can be entered in 3 ways:
a) Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/swizzelsmatlow) Can be any combination of pictures and
words. Entries not deemed appropriate will be deleted.
b)Twitter @swizzelsmatlow using #sweetproposal
c) Website https://www.lovehearts.com/sweetproposal
Entries via the website can be a short story of up to 250 words, a photograph may be
attached.
Entries by all 3 methods will be judged together by a panel of judges and a short list of 5 will
be selected. Those shortlisted may be contacted so that we can find about more about their
romantic proposal to assist in selecting the overall winner.
9. The shortlist will be selected by Tuesday 2nd February. If we have been unable to make
contact with those shortlisted within 48 hours we reserve the right to select an alternative
entry.
10. There will be a shortlist of 5 and 1 winner from UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
Swizzels Ireland will select a shortlist of 5 and 1 winner from ROI. The same timings and
conditions apply to the Irish entries.
11. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the
promoter.
12 One winner will be picked from the 5 shortlisted. No cash alternative to the prizes will be
offered. The prizes are not transferable.
The winner will receive a luxury spa weekend for 2 people up to the value of £500 (€650 for
Irish winner). The Swizzels team will help the winner find a spa location to suit them and
will assist with the booking. The prize will include 1 nights accommodation for two people.
The 4 runners up will receive a year’s supply of Love Hearts and Swizzels sweets. The
equivalent of 52 bags.
13. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.
14. The overall winner will be contacted by Friday 5th February. If the winner cannot be
contacted or do not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to
withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
15. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final
and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to have their
photograph or story shared in the press/media and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any
disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any
personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance
with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without
the entrant’s prior consent.
19. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
