I haven't been on these forums for years, but have been reading them often.
I would love to get involved again, especially now I'm retired and have a bit more time
I've made New Years resolutions every Christmas time since 1997, in the same little book and its wonderful to look back and see which ones I have kept. Surprisingly, quite a few!
I tick things off the following year if the resolution has been kept.
I'm still pondering over my resolutions for 2016, but will post when I have a listLiving a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

I don't recognise the artificial concept of New year's in January.0

I aim to meal plan every week, use my credit cards sensibly to build up my credit score, spend less time in front of screens and more family time together.0

Not particularly mse but I am going to write to my MP every time I shout at the Today programme. It happened again this week with the news that Police Crime Commisioners are going to be given controls over the Fire Service. I'm in Kent and our Commissioner is the idiotic, incompetent and infamous Anne Barnes. The general public show their contempt for these roles by refusing to turn out to vote for them but here are the Government giving tnem more powers. I've decided it's no use just telling my husband and the radio what I think... I'm going to be one of those batty old women who write to their MP!Downshifted
