Pixmania in administration?

I made a purchase from Pixmania a few months ago via Top Cashback and my cashback has been declined in the past couple of weeks. TCB say it's because Pixmania have gone in to administration. No notice of administration is on the website and they still appear to be trading, so is that information correct? If it is correct it needs more publicity as people could make purchases on the website and not receive their goods.

http://www.directcommercemagazine.com/news/business-administrationsandrestructuring/pixmania-shutters-storesPixmania has closed its stores in Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain, but will continue online operations in those countries. It has also pulled the plug on online stores in Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.0

That's a story from 2013. They've been trading online for over 2 years since Dixons got rid of them as a French company bought them.0 -
oops ..... I wish these publications would date their stories.:o0

I've just had the same response from TopCashBack on purchases I've been chasing cashback on since April. I've just told them they are wrong, as clearly they are still trading... just look at their website. Pixmania disappeared from their site a couple of days ago.. but amazingly is now showing as a NEW entry on their site when you search (although they are not offering cashback again just yet). It's a very cunning way for both companies to get out of paying cashback to their customers dont you think?0

Now I 've had confirmation from Pixmania that they are not in administration so I've told TCB that and unless they come up with an acceptable response I'll be using other cashback sites in the future. I've already had a past instance where they refused to pay cashback saying my last click was off a different affiliate link when it was off their site.0

And this is what TopCashBack have told me.
"This is something which the merchant themselves have informed us, they have informed us that due to this they will not be awarding cashback and as a result there is nothing further we can do."
Very cunning on Pixmania if that's the case. Use TopCashBack to drum up sales, then claim they have gone into admin so cant pay.
I'm not going to lose much sleep over the money... only about £12, but it's the dishonesty that annoys me.
I've added a link to this thread from the main TopCashBack thread to see if their customer rep can shed any light on this.0 -

If that is the case then Topcashback should responded informing them of their legal obligation to display the administration notice on their website and to email or write to all previous customers with the notice.0
