There were almost certainly never going to be 1,000 winners and based on what was stated in the T&C's it looks like less than 1 in 10 promotional packs were used (lots of people never bother)4. Prizes are based on a mathematic calculation, each entrant has the same chance of winning but all the prizes will only be allocated if there is a single entry for every promotional pack entered in to the market0 -
There are just 82 names listed there.
Who knows what they won? Maybe they all just won the £2.50 money off vouchers!
I can understand not every promotional pack gets used in these types of competitions but I would also think they would have received many thousands of entrants to it once the word was spread around the various comping websites.
They gained a lot of publicity with this promotion with prime shelf locations in the supermarkets. I think they could have been a bit more generous with the prizes.0 -

The mail in list is only major prize winners so presumably the internet list is also just winners of the £100.
There were 12,000,000 promotional packs produced, based on the number of winners that would give around 1,000,000 entered so a few thousand or more compers wouldn't make much difference but might account for the multiple winners (there were only 144 thanks on the mse comp post).0
