I'm dying of plague, so am struggling to coherently plan this week.

My vague outline is to eat the beef stew that's currently in the slow cooker (brisket, leek, onion, carrot, swede, cabbage, potato and a bit of cauliflower, with stock and pearl barley).

I've also several trays of winter roast veggies (carrots, onions, and parsnips mostly) that were YS this morning, and so will likely have these with mash, quorn sausage, and gravy.

I'm really hoping this cold will go away soon, and assuming I'm feeling better by Monday, lunches at work are going to be dead simple soup or jacket potato with beans.

    *cough, cough* :(
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

It's the end of the month for me, so I'm down to freezer and cupboard stocks. Have plenty of fresh veggies in and can always pick up more of the super 6 to top up. We have visitors coming to stay next weekend so there will be a few changes to the usual menu.

Sun 8th - Chicken breasts with garlic mushrooms, asparagus and colcannon ( lots of cabbage and kale to use up!)

Tue 10th - Fridge frittata and salad

Wed 11th - Veg curry, dhal and rice

Fri 13th  - Smoked haddock, kale, broccoli and potato cheesy bake with roast tomatoes

Sat 14th - SC beef casserole with dumplings for travel weary visitors. Tempted to do a trifle for pud.
