we had some sad news which has resulted in extra spends :(:( ,,, I had 2 weeks of no alcohol but ended up drinking wine as the 0% beer was awful and I can only take so much diet coke.... I have been in the gym every day I am not in work. I really do want drop 15lbs in the 6 weeks before our hols. So a little disappointed I caved.

I have cancelled OT today to spend time with OH as he's quiet emotional , possibly due to evenings and cider :o I'm hopeful they won't hold it against me as is with good reason. I'll pick up another later in the month.

It started raining on Friday so joiner went home after delivering wood.. Then it stopped raining and he didn't come back. Hopefully he can do something today. Also plasterer needs to do hall. We did delay it but we can keep doing that, and we'd never get anywhere ( I have a goal of new carpets to consider )

I need to find out exactly what is happening with the course I'm meant to be doing. If it goes the way previous things have I'll find out the day before :o

Congratulations on the mortgage refund. I wonder where I can get one of those???

Shame about the joiner. Any excuse not do the work sometimes, but it will come good in the end.

Anything that has the word 'diet' in it I avoid. That and anything that says 'no sugar' or 'low sugar'. I find it increasingly difficult in the supermarket to buy the food I want, without the nanny state making decisions for me.

Good luck with the weight loss!!
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Owed at the end of -
    02/19 - £78,400. 04/19 - £85,000. 05/19 - £83,300. 06/19 - £78,900.
    07/19 - £77,500. 08/19 - £76,000.

I have to remember to be tight with Mortgage refund. too many spends in last 2 days. DD2 will return some of her loan on Friday. OH gets paid Friday too, therefore household bills account will be topped up.

We went to see The Lion King earlier , 2-1, plus a meal at Pr3zzos, I had 2 side dishes ( rocket salad and grilled chicken) and OH had starter and side. So we used a voucher code 20% off rather than a 2 for 1. I'm working tomorrow therefore only had soft drinks. also aiming to fit in with my points allowance.

OH has finished the retaining wall to the raised patio :j:j:j he as also laid 6 flags on the raised patio :T:T:T he has worked hard today. :D Joiner has completed the trellis to match the other wall I will take down all the ivy on my next day off.

Joiner has left us lots of lovely wood to burn. he had to buy a pack to make it more cost effective. I've tried to order some wood for our log burner but their payment system wants to charge me £4000 for 30 nets of wood!!

Anyhow, summer child care ongoing. OH to have GD tomorrow and I'm having her Thursday and Friday. Hopefully plumber can fit us in to take down soil stack !!! OH needs this gone to finish laying the flags

DD2 got to Athens safely, but lost her passport in the airport... Thankfully someone handed it in an she has it back now , but she says she wants to come home :( ….. I've told her to put on her big girl pants and fake it till she makes it. She's gone with a lovely friend who deserves a nice holiday

Blimey your life ain’t easy MfD!! I am exhausted just catching up on the last fortnight!! Fabulous re the refund and also DD2 and her job. Getting a role in a law firm is a good move ( although maybe I am biased ;)) and a good standing for future steps.

Hope Oh’s mood picks up x
