Corbyn used Ed Milliband's speech

!!!!!! you fool. I've already said McConnells comments were stupid. Clearly I'm not condoning violence.
Why don't I twist your words round and say you think it's acceptable to have a prime minister who takes the country into a war that has led to the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. And decides to become mates with the evil dictator Gaddafi after he blew up a passenger jet in this country. Or that Thatcher defends a Chilean dictator who executed three thousand of his enemies.
Although I disagree with what MacDonnell has said, he doesn't actually have any blood on his hands. A life is a life, whether it's British, Irish, Iraqi or Chilean.
McConnell was elected as an MP, and Corbyn as leader of the opposition. They have every right to be in the shadow cabinet, though neither are my cup to tea. Perhaps you think differently, in which case, you have a problem with democracy.
My standard of governance isn't that set by either Blair or Thatcher.
My view is McDonnell is not fit to be a shadow minster due to his long standing (and continuing) support for the IRA killings: by association and also as a long term IRA supporter, I think Corbyn is equally unsuitable.
You seem intend on both trivialising the issue and finding faux reasons to support them.
Nothing I have said implies that there is any legal impediment to their being in the shadow cabinet : rather they are the wrong people whether chosen by 200,000 people or not.0 -
Another non thread, the fact the op had to quote two rightwing rags says it all, lol the more they rant , the more solid support he receives, reminds me of king canute, you cannot turn the tide“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.” Socrates

It was mentioned on the Today Programme as well. The speech was written that long ago, I think King Canute may even have turned it down."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Corbyn should be picked apart for his incoherent policies nothing more.
Alot of this comes from the 'press' which I've never liked anyway , left or right

Well here's the latest polling data:
http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/archives/9483
The Tories remain well ahead of where they were at the election and they've yet to have their conference.
Let's face it, unless a crisis renders the Tories unelectable, Labour are toast at the next election. Only Mr Blair has led Labour to an election victory in the last 40 years and Mr Corbyn is no Tony Blair.
Lest we forget, Labour has never sacked a leader so it looks a lot like this clown is going to lead Labour into the wilderness. I wonder how all these hard left supporters will feel if Mr Corbyn delivers UKIP or the Lib Dems as HM Loyal Opposition. I guess it'll be Mr Murdoch's fault.0 -

ComRes released their monthly telephone poll for the Daily Mail last night

I bet you are dumb enough to believe that ComRes will chuck away their reputation on producing a poll with skewed results. Are you in for a nasty surprise! Let me guess, the reason we've had one Labour PM elected since 1974 is all the fault of the right wing press.0 -
