Opening a FB account for competitions??

Just wondered everyone's opinions on this?

I tend to stay away from the FB comps as don't like filling up my feed and therefore my friends feeds with shared competitions!!

Just wondered if it was worth setting up an account purely for competitions, and if so how high are the chances of winning in these kinda comps?

If Facebook discovers that you have two accounts you may lose both.


I have just one but do not share FB items plus my settings are such that my "likes" are hidden from others.

I use my FB account solely for comps and games. I have approx 400 comping and gaming friends and have entered thousands of FB comps and not had a single win on there.

That is why, You need to have photos, status etc I use my FB for everything. I have won tones!

Much the same here & that is without a single comp related share.

I will try posting more stuff but have seen accounts that are far more comp based than mine winning stuff. There are just so many entries on FB comps, 10s of thousands sometimes for some fairly small prizes. I've pretty much given up on there to be honest.

Exactly that.
I never share comp related stuff on Facebook.
I have been quite successful via this method though. Wins include an iPad, trainers, food & lots more.

weeowens - how do you stop your likes showing? Do you mean liked pages or liked posts?

Mine is my personal account, full of photos and comments, but I do enter about 20 comps on there a day at least (no sharing ones, just like and comment ones).

Most of my wins come from Facebook. I win a lot.
