Well my personal opinion ( and forgive me if it oversteps the line) is that he should remain on the sick for the moment. It is not good when life at work is so intolerable that he is feeling this way.
I think you would both benefit from this and would even suggest if finances allow a small break away together. Even if it is stopping with someone, away from home pressures, it will allow you to both think clearly about what the future holds.

okay a quick update folks, Dr Dragon has seen another Dr and is still not able to work. His work decided to arrange a meeting for him (poss back to work meeting) at silly o'clock in a morning and the phrase at the moment going through the Dragon household is no wucking fay!
On top of this my injuries are playing silly beggers (and yes they have all the pieces - which is more than I can say for me), I have been taking medication (oooh mediacation) and put on 10.5 pounds in 48 hours :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
