When will I learn  I should never say I am starting to feel better because as soon as I do I start to feel bad again :rotfl:

Dr Dragon is off on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday :j so planning on relaxing AND getting some stuff done (and yes I do hope that some of this will involve stitching and not the type of stitching I was doing last week which as clothes mending!)

This time next week there will be a small furry Dragon here as well :D

hi, OH is working this weekend and tomorrow boooo! but we've both got tuesday off.
I was at a crop yesterday with my sister and had loads of fun, i made the pages for my neices and nephew's albums and a mini book. got home to find out that my neighbour has been taking the micky. A friend cleaned the guttering and was only going to charge her £20, we thought she'd paid it's her responsibility to look after the roof (upstairs flat). Well the guy turned up yesterday asking for the money, apparently she'd told him i was going to get a fiver off all the flat owners and would pay him. She knew she was out of order as she never mentioned this to me as she knew i would tell her where to get off. Thankfully yesterday OH told him she was reponsible and he went to see her. Makes me glad i didn't try and get the quote for her to get the guttering and boards replaced, i bet she would have expected me to pay as well. Cheeky begger! It just makes me so angry and more determined to sell this place once the market picks up.

No pics of the furry Dragon until he arrives next Saturday - but then there will be :D, I suspect my avatar photo will change then as well :p

LT - I hate to say this but your neighbour may not have been taking the micky at all - sometimes if you are in a block of flats you are all responsible for anything shared and that includes the roof and guttering

no she's definitely taking the mick, we do have shared responsibility for the porch (which is falling down but one person won't agree to do it even though we've sorted out a really good quote etc) but the upstairs flats are responsible for the roof, boards and guttering and the downstairs ones are responsible for the underground drains. It's been really getting me down to be honest. I'm the one who works the most hours in the block yet it's been down to me to get quotes etc for the porch cos the rest are too lazy to get of their back sides and do anything and as i say, one (who rents his flat out) refuses to let us get on with getting the porch replaced.
    sorry whinge over.
been an expensive weekend - just got an electric fire and hearth to replace the useless storage heater, we've worked out it will save money cos the storage heater doesn't work but they tend to kick all the heat out during the day when we're not there and it's freezing when we're home. Fire was a bargain, rang up as £50 less than the listed price, then we got the 15% off as well. I'm sure it will also pay for itself this winter alone.
