First Post I've been Money Tipped!

Evening everyone!

I am currently a self employed cleaner and really enjoy my job.
I've had a new client approach me and is looking for someone wHo use eco friendly products, she's all for being eco friendly and has a dog and doesn't want anything harmful or having a strong chemical smell to greet her when she comes in from work.

I was wondering if anyone has an useful tips and recipes to help me out? Il try in my own home first.

I have white vinegar in my cleaning stock anyway, I used it to mop a kitchen floor that had cat pee on it and it g.ot rid of the smell. I also have a botLoe of lemon juice and lime, bicarbonate of soda, washing uP liquid.

It's just putting them together to make good cleaners that are also as powerful as commercial cleaners.

I'm interested in a multi purpose spray, carpet de odriser, toilet cleaner, limescale remover for taps, floor cleaner, air freshener, Polish and a general oven cleaner.

I'm really excited to experiment buy in some essential oils if I need too? I'm Hoping to advertise too that I can also use Eco cleaners as well as my general cleaning products.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm looking for some old tips, thrifty tips which work and are good enough for my clients homes

For oven cleaner I sprinkle bicarb of soda over the bottom of the oven then pour on some fairy to make a paste then cover with a cloth ( old teatowel etc) and carefully pour on some vinegar. Shut the door and go and have a cup of tea and come back later and you don't even need to scrub - it just wipes off. I use the same mix to clean the bottom of the shower.
I only use bicarb , vinegar, Fairy liquid and zoflora or a mix of 2 of these to clean just about everything.

Il try that for my oven, mine needs a clean and I generally use oven pride and use a dab of it to clean mine, however il try this and see how good it works. Il have to take before and after photos for my fb business page and see if I creat some interest? Thanks for that tip.

Some essential oils are not necessarily safe for using around pets, so I'd be careful using them around a dog. It's worth doing a bit of online research as the advice varies, but some people recommend against using some common oils, like pine and tea tree.

Invest in a steam cleaner. I love mine for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen.

We use something called Vistal to clean anything difficult to remove, or just general cleaning in the bathroom - brilliant on ceramic hob, shower glass taps, tiles, grout etc. All natural, no chemicals and easy to use

A vet, whom I knew online ,said that she had read in a veterinary journal that teatree oil was suspected to cause neurological damage to some dogs and cats, through skin contact.

She said she normally took warnings about products with a pinch of salt , but was concerned about this, it being in an official publication.

Some dogs are allergic to the carpet deodorizers made to sprinkle or to put inside vacuum cleaners. The gritty powder causes irritation.

Glass, either in windows or mirrors, come up a treat with washing up liquid, (or any diluted soap) and newspaper. Rub the glass with soapy paper, rinse with clean wet paper, dry with fresh sheet, marvelous!!
