Yup! Had a feeling it was one of 'those' emails when I saw the '...and some bad news' part. Telling me I've just lost the competition is in no way whatsoever an incentive for me to now go on and use your consolation prize of a discount, thank you! :rotfl::rotfl:

I got this too. It's not really the you didn't win, but here's a discount bit that annoys me (had lots of these emails, so used to it), it's the shhhh it's between us bit - so obvious they mean don't tell anyone, otherwise you'll all figure out your exclusive discount isn't really all that exclusive because we send it to everyone (or lots of people at the very least)! Oh well, they made me chuckle at least!

Yeah had loads in the past, and they all suck. Thought this one was particularly bad as I was viewing it on the phone so didn't see the bit about not so good news.


Thought the double dose of potential hope was particularly horrible - the fact that they put WINNER in the subject, and WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS in the sub header was particularly mean.
