  • My husband is so cool. I emailed him an ad for baby goats and his reply just said
    "Let's get goats".

Sorry to barge in with advice but maybe get female goats..

We had 2 males, one castrated and one not - their favourite past time was headbutting things until they destroyed them, we went through numerous huts with them.

Also boys urinate on their beards as a way of attracting females and it stinks to high heaven and you cant get rid of it easily:eek:
  • Thanks Elephant!

We went from goats to donkeys and then to a small pony...

Crazy busy Saturday with a more chilled Sunday - mostly washing. Finding it hard to dry it with no aga and no TD.

Six weeks left in current job!!
  • In good news...£4,500 off the mortgage since we moved in July.

What?! You are moving on again? Well, congratulations m'dear. And huge apologies for missing/ reading and immediately forgetting about it. Details, please.

As someone who has been in her post for 15 years now (supply to permanent contract , from part-time up to full time and HOD and back to part-time) I find your wanderlust both exciting and downright frightening!

  • I am. Gaining back 5 hours a week from the commuting time.

It turns out the parental parents ( our childcare ) want all of June off. This new job allows us to say "no problem" to that, if I wasn't moving we'd be screwed since breakfast club doesn't start 'til 8, I would never be at work on time.
