So the Greek stockmarket opens today, with shares expected to drop 20% on opening admist fears about Greeces economy.

A buying opportunity or stay well away?

    There's an old City expression: don't try to catch a falling knife.

    Greece remains a massive short and does so until they default.

    Catching the knife may be OK. Knowing the Greeks, it isn't going to be the sharpest knife in the box!

    This is Socialism in power.

    While Syriza may have opted not to leave the Euro, they have totally destroyed what little confidence in Greece that remained meaning that all the talk of leaving the Euro is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

    Greek air controllers are holding a strike today with more scheduled for Thursday / Friday

    Corbyn has previously said the UK ought to help the Greek people : maybe he could ask his union mates to pop over and advise on how to cause max disruption at the height of the tourist season
