Remortgaging -I'm lost??

Hi there,
I am totally confused by mortagages, but seen your post advising to remortgage just now, as this will change soon and prices will go up. I pay the mortgage on my own and every penny counts. I checked the best morgage deals on your site and just wanted to check if my best option would be to move to the HSBC as I am not in a fixed morgage just now. Currently with Bank of Scotland with Home Rate Loan @ 4.95% amount owing £82k worth approx £95k. Can anyone offer some guidance please??
Help!!

Go and see a broker (whole of market) or have a look at some of the comparison sites. Depending on your financial circumstances you should be able to get d much better deal than you currently haveDetermined to save and not squander!

Firstly look at Bank of Scotland rates for existing customers (not remortgage) for mortgages of 90% Loan To Value (LTV).
It should be easy to switch onto one of those products without going through any application or credit check.
If you want to move lenders and/or change any details of your mortgage (length of time left, amount borrowed), then you'll need to make a full application for a new mortgage. As Sedge says, either look on comparison sites or go to a broker if you're not confident of finding the best product for you.
Nobody will be able to say whether HSBC is the best lender or product for you on here.0
