Thanks fundire, I found that thread last night, I've pm'd some of the posters to see if there's any further information they can let me have

So far, it doesn't look brilliant for clubseasons, but it doesn't look like I've made the biggest mistake ever, either. So long as I can let my membership lapse without any comeback I'll be happy and can put it down to experience

I'd just returned to this thread to edit my post above - it sounded a bit flippant when I read on the other board about your worries re. Clubseasons (I won't edit my post now since you've read it anyway). Good luck and I hope it all turns out ok.
