Oh, I'm going for it.

So, after figuring out I'll be out of debt by July 2017 if I continue with the bare minimum, I've decided to better it. My goal is to be out of unsecured debt by 2016.

I ate through my savings moving cities last year, and gave myself six months to get on my feet with a new job and a new place to live. Having no money to do anything fun made my mood and my relationship go sour before I found my feet again... but I'm here six months later, I've found my feet and have a tiny bit of spare cash each month after meeting minimum requirements.

Each month, anything left over after paying direct debits will go to repaying my cards. Anything I need to spend money on will come off the card, but each month I will spend less ( hopefully a lot less) than I make.

I've put an ad out for a lodger for my spare room, and I have my savings jars at the ready for any spare coins/cash from selling things.

We'll see how this goes...
