Hi Argos colleagues
Recently finished Customer Service training and all that but there were just a couple of things that confused me a little.
With RPC's (883) within the 3 years total they (customer) is guaranteed a replacement or refund, however within the first 12 months it is still under Argos warranty so may go for repair if possible.
(1)With the 2 years after the initial 12 months, does the RPC mean they are a guaranteed replacement or refund, or a guaranteed repair?
(2)And within the first 12 months, even if it can be repaired can the customer invoke the RPC and get a replacement/refund?
(3)Also, if a refund is required, does it have to be refunded onto an electronic gift card or can it be refunded via the original method of payment? (eg Argos Card, cash etc.)
(4) (finally) Is there a set order to go through? By this I mean can the customer choose a replacement or refund or does the customer HAVE to have a replacement and then if it is not available a refund?
Thanks, getting there!!!

You can find everything here.
1. Replacement or refund in gift vouchers at Argos' discretion.
2. Sure, if they don't mind that if it breaks after the warranty they won't be covered.
3. Gift vouchers.
4. i) Replacement with identical item. ii) Replacement with similar item. iii) Refund onto gift card. The customer has no right to choose.0 -
