Haribo Minions: Guess the location competition
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and to their details being communicated to the Promoter’s agency in relation to this promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
Promoter Dunhills (Pontefract) Plc (trading as HARIBO), 26 Front Street, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF8 1NJ.
Eligibility: 1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), Channel Islands, IOM and ROI aged 16 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Dunhills (Pontefract) Plc (trading as HARIBO) (the “Promoter”), its agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. If you are under the age of 16, you must obtain consent from your parent/guardian to enter into the promotion. By entering into the promotion you confirm that you have been given this consent.
3. No purchase necessary
Promotional Period: 4. The promotional period runs from 5th May 2015 and the closing date for entries is 31st August 2015.
To enter: 5. Please visit https://www.haribominions.com and follow instructions on the site. 6. Entrants will be required to provide their full name, email address, and confirm they are 16 or over in order to enter.
7. Entrants will also be asked to answer a qualifying question. Those answering the question correctly will receive an entry into the draw.
8. Entries are limited to one person per email address every two weeks. Anyone trying to circumvent this condition, for example by setting up multiple email accounts will be disqualified.
Winner Selection 9. Each fortnight, a prize draw will take place and 50 winners will be selected at random, by an independent party, from all valid entries received during the promotional period. 10. An additional 25 prizes will be given away at the end of the promotional period taken from all entries throughout the entry period.
Winner Notification 11. Winners will be notified and contacted by email to arrange fulfilment of their prize within 28 days of the draw date. In the event that the winner does not respond or cannot be contacted within 28 days of being notified by email, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original. Only one prize can be won by any person.
Delivery of Prizes:
12. The promoter will endeavour to despatch the prize within 28 days, but the Promoter shall not be liable for any delay in, or failure to send a prize, if such delay or failure arises from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation any act of God, Governmental act (including any act of any foreign government, the European Community or other international body), war, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, tempest, explosion, civil commotion, riot, insurrection or act of terrorism, failure of a third party or industrial action.
Prizes: 13. There are various prizes of official Minions merchandise which will be allocated to winners randomly. Winners will receive one 150g bag of HARIBO Minions and one 150g bag of HARIBO Tangy Minions as well as one item of Minions merchandise allocated at random. Minions merchandise available but not limited to includes; 75 x Minions magnets, 75 x 3D Magnets, 75 x character keychains, 65 x foldable goggles, 50 x activity sets, 25 x 10cm Squishy Minions, 10 x cooler bags, 30 x stationary sets, 10 x umbrellas, 10 x inflatable bowling sets.
GENERAL 14. Any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be ineligible and any prizes won will be void.
15. No bulk or third party entries or votes will be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of „script‟, „brute force‟ or any other automated means, that person‟s entries and/or votes will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
16. The Promoter cannot assume any responsibility or liability a) for any incorrect or inaccurate code entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of codes at any point in the operation of this Promotion.
17. Other than if specified, no cash or alternative prizes are available in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value or to remove a prize. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners. Prizes cannot be sold or auctioned or otherwise transferred to a third party.
18. Entrants must not register nor use the website on behalf of another individual without that individuals‟ express permission.
19. For a list of winner‟s full names and their counties, please send a stamped selfaddressed envelope to Haribo Dunhills (Pontefract) PLC, 26 Front Street, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF8 1NJ.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. 21. The Promoters‟ decision is final and binding in all promotional matters.
22. By entering the Promotion, prize winners acknowledge that they may be required to participate in publicity relating to the Promotion without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include without limitation, the participants name and/or image, statements made by the participants concerning the promotion and/or prizes and photographs or moving images of the participants or their guests taken as part of the promotion.
23. Any material created as part of the above Promotion shall be owned by the Promoter or the Promoter shall have the rights to use such material. Prize winners agree for the Promoter to edit, publish and use in perpetuity throughout the world all or segments of any such material in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes
