Have realised that the amount that I am paying out in DD to MBNA card that holds the majority of my debt is almost £300 less than I was paying to Natwest. Will have to increase the amount that I pay to MBNA to keep up the rate of debt clearance that I want to maintain.

Had to pay £560 on new car tyres which was very painful!

Should hear about whether I am going to be kept on as a full-timer this week so fingers crossed.

Managed to pay off an extra £50 off my Natwest card though!

    Hi,
I know how you feel, I'm in a similar boat. I'm trying to keep my credit cards at 0% whilst I pay off a loan which should take 2 and a half years , I hope there are enough zero deals to keep shuffling them around. God I wish I'd never got in this position. It rules your life and is on the mind every day.
    Good luck xx

Another £50 paid off my natwest at card. I am keeping up with the extra payment a week! It was also a whole weekend without spending as I was at Beaver Scout Camp helping as a leader.

Have been reassured that my job is safe for now which is a relief. It is however all a bit haphazard at work at the moment so I am still putting feelers out and there is a potential role that I may be able to fill.

Annoyingly I have today left my lunch at home!

I get paid this week which is always a relief. I am also seeing a new client this evening regarding some consultancy work that should earn me £500. Hopefully it will be a good week!

Have been totalling up my debt to see where I am.

I currently owe £33,371.93. This means that I have paid off £3,518.07 since I started this thread!

I am currently feeling quite pleased with myself. Just have to keep focussed.
