Have just received £1000 in fees from my consultancy business. Unfortunately I can't use them to pay down my debts as I have a tax bill of £1200 to pay at the end of July but at least it removes that particular stress!Natwest: £17940

A new week ahead. I have paid an extra £69.60 off my Natwest card. This takes the current balance to below £1000 which is rather satisfying. I have also prepared my own lunch for work. Hopefully this is going to be a good week!Natwest: £17940

It has been up and down for me over the last week or so.
I was told that there was a risk that my hours could be cut because there is not enough funding for my role. I have been on leave over the last week so hopefully things will be clearer on my return. My boss and her boss seemed optimistic that funding would be found but it is going to be a nerve wracking couple of weeks. Potentially my hours could be cut in half which would mean the same would happen to my salary.
I am however going to keep sticking to the plan and pay off as much as I can when I can. I will also start brush off my CV and get looking for alternative work in case I need it.Natwest: £17940

Have spoken to my boss today and she seems positive that I will remain full-time which a relief.
Have also done some adding up and since starting this thread I have reduced my debts by £2758 which is a good start I think.
