Specialist mortgage provider Kensington was revealed by the Financial Ombudsman last week as attracting a substantial level of complaints, with 93 individual complaints admitted in the first six months of the year. However, only 13 percent of these were resolved in favour of the consumer, while the industry average was 32 percent.

“Blackstone Tactical Opportunities” this needs to get out

I think our local news station just got ate up by Blackstone. NewsCenter 40, in south jersey, has lost their NBC affiliation. Thus,leaving them powerless and vulnerable. Then in steps company called LocusPoint which it turns out to be partially owned, and I mean like 99% owned, "literally" by Blackstone. Now it turns out that they are going around buying up smaller market stations. Why? I have no idea,but the scariest part is the companies divisionis called “Blackstone Tactical Opportunities” division.

Danger sign 1: Acenden fabricates a default and then steadfastly refuses to answer your repeated written requests for an explanation.

Does Acenden insure the mortgage lender's interest, with you paying the premium?

Look at the insurance schedule: if Acenden have insured the lender's interest for more than its actual exposure (the amount left to pay back your mortgage loan), this is another danger sign that Acenden are manoeuvring into a position where they start repossession.

Setting out to make a profit from buying insurance is unlawful.
