The potatoes are a bargain, if you're not fussy about the variety.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

    Yes, a bad week.
Last weeks chocolate was excellent and the Black Forest ham and truffles this weekend are good.
So, I'll let them off. :D

The Maris Piper potatoes from Home Bargains (HB) are a better offer. 2kg for only 49p. But, you need a HB's near you.
Net of 3 large onions for 59p is another bargain.

The ribs are OK and the pulled pork is nice to have with different sides or even just on a bap :)

I'm not talking about a fruit and veg section, but two small HB's I visit sell the Maris Pipers, the large onions (3's) and last week even had cheap carrots. But not a full selection and just placed in the display baskets. I've had Maris Pipers for quite a while now and worth asking.
I have been told that the larger HB's do now have a larger selection and there is one not too far away from myself, but too far to go and justify the savings.
    ...........................but if I'm passing.
