Have you really thought about what the kids are contributing? According to that they are only just paying for the food they eat and nothing else, which I am sure adding to the electricity and gas bills too.

Can you cancel (or threaten to!) the TV portion of your tv/internet/phone subscription?
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

What I would ask is do you actually have nearly 400 quid at the end of the month, I would look at keeping a spending diary and seeing what you do have at end of month and any spare start by chucking it to the debt with the highest apr rate xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

It's absolutely doable and you are not a lost cause, you've found your way here so now you are on your journey :)

Which cards are you moving to low life of balance? I noticed you have a couple of smaller ones which might make good early targets so that you get a taste of victory. That £900 Halifax could be first against the wall :D

  • Thankyou so much for taking the time to read.
it seems so daunting thinking we will never do this

I have just recently reduced out tv etc by threatening to leave. Also both kids are on low incomes and help a bit more when they can.

    fingers crossed
