WARNING!!!!
I received the same email a couple of days ago. Had trouble logging in through the link given.
When I contacted O2 I was informed that this is not a promotion that they are running and that it was a scam email phishing for passwords.
Had to reset my O2 password along with a couple of other websites that shared the same login details.
You can contact O2 for verification. I'd advise doing so before using this link!!!0 -

so u have to be an o2 customer?What goes around-comes around0

I got a text from O2Wifi about this comp with the original link in - it came through from the same number that O2 used when I registered for O2 Wifi through their mobile app0
-
You do not need to be an o2 customer. Think you just sign up either online or near a Hotspot and you can get free WiFi near o2 Hotspots up to 10gb per month I believe. I think they did the same comp back in 2012.0

Apologies if I've got it wrong everyone. Yinster especially.
Though I did speak to O2 twice, once via their chat service (transcript below) and on both occasions they told me it wasn't an O2 email and also during a phone chat that it was a phishing email.
Guess they are not aware of the promotion in their Customer Services Department!
Apologies again - just wanted to keep everyone safe!
