Revlon glitch at Boots

Offer on for free ColourBurst Balm worth £7.99 when you spend £10. You don't actually have to spend £10 though as it works with anything including the £2.99 ShadowLinks.
This works on-line but only seems to work with the Matt balm. However, in store today i got two different ones, one stain and one lacquer.

weird, did you add the balm to your basket, or did it work automatically?
Nothing happened when I just had the eye shadow, and when I added the balm it didn't show as free

It only works with the 'Elusive' shade of matte balm online, the second one. That's the only one that I have found.
