1. The PayPal Magical Christmas Moments promotion (“Promotion”) is open to individuals (natural persons) resident in the UK who are over 18 years of age. Employees (and family members of employees) of any PayPal company, its affiliates, subsidiary companies (“PayPal), eBay Inc., its affiliates, subsidiary companies (“eBay”), any representatives or agents of PayPal or eBay and anyone who may be professionally involved with the Promotion may not enter the Promotion. PayPal reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
2. The Promotion involves Participants to submit their favourite Christmas Moment within the Magical Christmas Moments Facebook app on the PayPal UK Facebook page. The participants from each separate Promotional Period will go into a draw to win the dedicated prize listed in Point 8.
3. The Promotion commences at 9:00am on 20 November 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 21 December 2014 ("Promotional Period").
4. The Promotion involves five rounds where Participants can submit their favourite Christmas Moment during each separate Promotional Period. The rounds commence as follows:
   1. Round One: Commences 9:00am on 20 November 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 23 November 2014
   2. Round Two: Commences 12:00am on 24 November 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 30 November 2014
   3. Round Three: Commences 12:00am on 01 November 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 07 December 2014
   4. Round Four: Commences 12:00am on 08 December 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 14 December 2014
   5. Round Five: Commences 12:00am 15 December 2014 and will close at 11:59pm on 21 December 2014.
5. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all other special conditions that are specific to the Promotion.
6. Entrants must meet the following criteria to participate in the Promotion:
   1. Have a valid Facebook account with enabled private messaging function
   2. Be based in the UK
   3. Submit their favourite Christmas moment via the Magical Christmas Moments Facebook app on the PayPal UK Facebook page, launched on 20 November 2014 between the "Promotional Period" hours
   4. Participants have five chances to enter the Promotion, but only the first entry submitted in each round will be counted. Multiple entries in a single round will be deemed invalid
   5. Participants are eligible for one additional entry per week when sharing the competition with a friend by email, Facebook or Twitter via the Magical Christmas Moments Facebook app.
7. Once the Promotional Period has ended, five winners will be drawn randomly using electronic means from the pool of weekly entrants submitted on the Magical Christmas Moments Facebook app on the PayPal UK Facebook page.
8. Winners from the entrants’ shortlist for each round will be chosen to receive the following prize. The prizes for the winners will be as follows:
   1. Prizes for Round One: 1x £100 The Entertainer gift card each
   2. Prizes for Round Two: 1x £250 Topshop gift card each
   3. Prizes for Round Three: 1x one-night stay at 4* Cavendish Hotel in London each. The prize is valid on a Friday night between 9th January 2015 and 31st March 2015
   4. Prizes for Round Four: 1x Apple iPad Mini 16GB in Space Grey each
   5. Prizes for Round Five: To be announced.
9. This Promotion is a game of chance. The winners will be selected from the correct answers using Random.org – a random number generator software. All entrants acknowledge and agree that there is an element of subjectivity in the judging criteria.
10. Winners’ will be contacted via email or phone after the Promotion has closed.
11. Winners’ will have 7 days to confirm receipt of their prize and provide a UK address for delivery. If PayPal does not receive the winners’ details within 7 days PayPal has the sole right and discretion (without the need for further notification) to select an alternative winner. The original winner will automatically forfeit the prize in such an event.
12. Upon receipt of the winner’s’ confirmation, PayPal will provide further instructions as to prize redemption. Winners’ names will then be posted in this article.
13. By submitting their entries, winners allow PayPal to share their favourite Christmas moment on the PayPal UK Facebook page and PayPalUK Twitter page.
14. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
15. All personal information will be used solely in connection with this Promotion.
16. At its discretion, PayPal reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions to this Promotion.
17. PayPal reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the Promotion at any time as it may determine in its sole discretion.
18. If PayPal has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant may be involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, PayPal reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants and your prize will be forfeited. PayPal may also disqualify any entrant that does not act in accordance with these terms and conditions or PayPal’s rules and policies.
19. PayPal may disqualify any individual using the promotion in a way in which PayPal deems inappropriate at its sole discretion. (inappropriate use of the Promotion includes, without limitation, collusion, manipulation and engagement in any other activity that may give the entrant carrying out that activity an unfair advantage over other entrants).
20. PayPal shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence), or the breach of statutory duty or any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by any person suffered directly or indirectly from participating in this Promotion. Nothing in these terms shall limit PayPal’s liability for fraud.
21. Although PayPal will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Promotion (“Promotional Material”) is accurate, PayPal is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect PayPal’s operation of the Promotion or the PayPal site, including without limitation the accuracy of any Promotional material.
22. The decision of PayPal is final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
23. English law governs this promotion and these terms and conditions.
